Get Ready for Studio C The Corner
Creativity flourishes beautifully at every stage in our Studio C art classes. The Studio C Young Creators Collective is our thoughtfully designed youth art program featuring three creative pathways: First Marks (ages 6–7), Finding Form (ages 8–10), and Creative Voice (ages 11–13). Each pathway includes a series of uniquely themed programs that work both independently and together. This means that students can comfortably start at Program 1, Program 3, or anywhere in between, all while building a well-rounded foundation of artistic skills, creative confidence, technique, and self-expression within Studio C THE CORNER’s warm and inspiring environment for creative arts for kids.

First Marks (Ages 6–7) is Studio C THE CORNER's introductory art program for young creators beginning their creative journey. Through playful, guided painting and mixed-media projects, children explore colour, shape, texture, pattern, and creative storytelling while developing fine motor skills, artistic confidence, and self-expression. Each monthly program introduces new concepts in a warm, encouraging studio where imagination is celebrated and every young artist can grow at their own pace.

Finding Form (Ages 8–10) is designed for young artists ready to build on their creative foundations and explore art with greater purpose. Students develop skills in composition, perspective, colour relationships, layering, texture, and observation while learning how artists create depth, balance, and visual storytelling. Through engaging monthly projects, children strengthen their technical abilities, creative problem-solving, and artistic independence in Studio C THE CORNER's supportive, community-focused environment.

Creative Voice (Ages 11–13) encourages emerging artists to refine their techniques while discovering their own unique artistic style. Students explore advanced concepts such as composition, light and shadow, colour harmony, expressive mark-making, and personal creative expression through thoughtfully guided projects. Each monthly program challenges students to think critically, experiment confidently, and develop the technical skills and creative voice needed to create artwork with intention and meaning.
The Social Studio Series
Intermediate Acrylic Painting Program
Take your painting beyond the basics with a relaxed, community-focused learning experience designed for artists ready to grow their skills.
Each four-week program explores one essential artistic fundamental—from composition and colour theory to light, texture, perspective, atmosphere, and personal style. Through guided instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, you'll strengthen your understanding of acrylic painting while creating artwork inspired by your own reference images.
Whether you join for a single module or continue through the full series, each program is designed to build confidence, encourage creative exploration, and help you paint with greater intention.
